Founder & CEO
Hi! I’m Arissa (@arissa_roy-Instagram) and I’m a high school student from Canada, an advocate and the founder of Project Power Global. I started PPG because I believe in the power education has to end global poverty, an issue that has been around for decades. Something I live by everyday is “if not you, who.” and i’m honoured to work with a team of young people dedicated to creating change and who share that belief.

Social Media Director
Hey! I’m Owen from Canada and joined PPG at the beginning in the summer of 2020. Currently, I go to high school in french immersion. Changemaking has always been a passion of mine so I jumped at the chance to work at PPG. I wanted to work on real impact in changing the lives of people around the world for the better. My time at PPG has been amazing, working with an incredible team, learning more about creating content for our website and social media.

Events Co-Director
Hi, I'm Erika, I'm from Canada, and I’m an events lead. I joined PPG as a way to help make a difference when it comes to the lack of access to education. As I'm pursuing my own education, I'd also like to help those in need to have access to it as well. Since I joined, I've been learning more about what surrounds planning and seeing through events, while being surrounded by hardworking, inspiring, and kind people.

Events Lead
My name is Shalisha and I am a grade 12 student in Toronto! My role at PPG is events lead which basically means I work with the events team as well as the rest of the team to coordinate the many events and fundraisers at PPG and ensure they run as smoothly as possible and that they are as succesful as possible. At first I joined PPG to explore areas that I was passionate about. But overtime, it has become much more than that and collaborating with the team to make visions a reality has been such an amazing learning experience. Seeing how our work directly impact communities and individuals has been incredibly exciting. I am so excited to see the impact and growth PPG will have in the future!
